There are two main types of cars available in the world. One is used and the other is the fresh cars. Here are some of the reasons boosting for buying new vehicle than the used ones.
# New cars are status symbol

The first and most important benefit of new cars is that the new ones are having a status in the societies. Any of the best will never earn an honor and respect in the eyes of the people if it is bought as the used ones. Although the scenario is being changing and people are getting used to with the used cars and used products but still there is a fixed traditional rigid class who believes that “it is better to have nothing than using the used!!”

So, thinking from those people mind, buying new ones is a compromise with the standard in the society.

In case you haven’t heard, Xenon Hid Headlights are the new thing! HID stands for “High Intensity Discharge” and they lights got their name because of the intense white light produced via electrical discharges. HID lights are a newer lighting technology that is used mostly in automobiles to produce greater effectiveness as well as greater efficiency. Unlike halogen or incandescent bulbs, HID bulbs do not have filaments.

Instead they create light by bridging an art between two electrodes. This is similar to the energy transfer of lighting. When the arc is stimulated, the mixture of Xenon gases and metallic salts combine to produce a phenomenal bright white beam that is about three times brighter than conventional illuminations. These bulbs also last ten times longer. They are both beneficial and environmental friendly to have on your vehicle as well as in or outside your home. The HKS hi power exhaust is available as an aftermarket hi powered exhaust for many makes and models including but not limited to: Acura, Mazda, Honda, Toyota, Ford, GM, Dodge, Lexus, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Subaru. The HKS hi power exhaust is modeled after some of the GT racing in Japan for turbo charging and aspirated uses. HKS hi power exhausts incorporated the race inspired offset mufflers and pipes into street use that now offers more flow and higher PRM because the design is less restrictive. This is made by taking out bends that are not needed, and giving a straighter path for the exhaust.

When used as a supercharger, the HKS hi power exhaust lets more exhaust velocity through for better mid range boosts and more high RPM power. Those vehicles that are naturally aspirated will see better exhaust flow when the engine’s tuning levels go up. There are some silent HKS hi power exhaust versions that have a silencer inside the muffler. All of the HKS hi power exhaust systems are made out of stainless steel tips and mufflers, and some of these tips range in size from 96mm to 120 mm in diameter depending on make and model of the vehicle. Piping diameters range from 55mm-95mm depending on the make and model of vehicle application. There are special editions of carbon titanium HKS hi power exhausts that are only available for specific models of vehicle. These special versions are made of a carbon fibered wrap shell on the muffler, a titanium tip and piping that is made of polished stainless steel. Continue reading ‘HKS Hi Power Exhaust’ »

Vehicle Tested: 2010 Toyota Prius
Long term test: 7,000 miles
Vehicle from: cars4u.com
Conclusion: Third generation hybrid drives like a sporty luxury five door while delivering real-world 50 miles-per-gallon.

PROS:

* 50 mpg (3.8 litres per 100km in Canada) real world
* Solid real-car handling with sporty aspirations (for a Toyota)
* Small car exterior, mid-size car interior
* Understated luxury as only Toyota can manage
* Vastly improved ergonomics and instruments
* Sleek design with best drag co-efficient of any production car
* Quiet ride
* Seemless transition from electric to hybrid

CONS:

* Slightly less legroom versus 2009
* Depending on your point of view, CSV transmission (this reviewer liked its responsiveness)
* Price, although it is good value for the total package.

Toyota owns hybrid in the market, even though Honda was technically first. With the numbers of Prius models on the road surpassing many non-hybrid competitors, Toyota can claim the title of Hybrid “owner.” Its past generation downsides included: bizarre design (part of its mystique), underpowered drivetrain, and transition clunkiness.

All that changes with the new Prius. While retaining the best-in-class mileage ratings, even compared to Toyota’s other hybrid models, and some of the signature look, the third generation Prius 2010 model has gone “mainstream” enough to attract millions more to the marque. Currently they’re managing approximately 20,000 units sold per month in the US. The only real downside to a Prius is its price, but in the hybrid category it’s competitive. Where buyers sometimes stumble is when comparing the Prius (or any hybrid) to an economy four-banger at several thousand dollars less.

Abraham Blinick, Operations Manager at cars4u.com convinced me to review the car. “We sell and lease a lot of cars,” said Blinick. “This is the car I like so much I bought one myself. I like the design elements and definitely the functionality.” Continue reading ‘Long Term Road Test – Toyota Prius’ »

Lots of people like to drive themselves around when visiting Europe, and if coming from the UK, it is quite easy these days to get there in a matter of hours. If you are considering taking your car abroad, then ensure you are prepared. Look online at the FCO website, it offers lots of travel advice by country, you’ll also need to check what insurance and breakdown cover is required.

Europe can be a great place to explore by car, especially if you are heading to the countryside. Rolling hills, quiet roads, beautiful scenery, and you get to stop whenever and wherever you want. The road infrastructure is good in European countries and traffic isn’t a problem at most times of the year, apart from the cities of course. If you have to drive in the city it can be quite stressful, particularly if you are not sure of the road system and don’t know the areas. Try to avoid certain holiday seasons such as Christmas if you are nervous and new to driving on the opposite side of the road. Continue reading ‘Tips on Driving in Europe’ »

Anything in the world has a system and following the system religiously is the only ladder to success. Even in the case of online car reviews it is important to add or focus some of the fixed data as they only make the articles more popular and impressive. Any of the articles can become effective only if it is having all the basic needs which a car buyer is searching for. Here we have added some of the information which can become useful for the review maker and also will make the most impressive and effective use of the review which will automatically make it popular.
# Basic introduction of the model

An introduction to the car model which is to get targeted is necessary but that also should be short enough to get familiar with the company and the model. It is quite important in the car review to use the shorter and sweeter language as these languages and sizes will motivate and retain the interest of the reader. Also the starting should be on to the topic as the reader is more interested in reviewing the features of the car rather than history and geography of the car and company.
# Emphasize the exterior and performance first

Soon after briefing the introduction, the performance of the car and the engine capacity should be reviewed as these are the most focused parts in which the reader is interested. Also, to retain and to enhance the reading of the reader to the blog, the main features should be narrated first. Exterior of the cars are always the prime search for the buyer and to make the exterior exposed it is strongly recommended to have the close up look of the car photograph just beside the paragraph which is featuring the exteriors.
# No overload of photographs Continue reading ‘Requirement of an Ideal Car Review Article’ »

One of the most sought-after upgrades to a customized vehicle is the car air intake system. It can make a tremendous difference by literally allowing your car to “breathe” freely, which in turn revs up horsepower and simultaneously improves gas mileage. Who wouldn’t want to achieve that?

The Weapon R Secret Intake can achieve ultimate intake system performance to increase the volume of air to the engine. The idea is to create two distinct air velocity profiles that travel at different speeds, which inherently makes air volume and speed surge to the engine. The end result is up to three times more air than a conventional intake system! Continue reading ‘Weapon R Secret Intake’ »
