Antique cars divide the public like very few other items. There are those who find the whole idea of looking at old cars to be quite simply the most boring concept they can imagine. On the other hand, there are many of us who genuinely enjoy looking at the way cars have developed throughout the ages. It is often said about history “If we do not know how we got here, how can we possibly know where we are going?” and this is a very good way of looking at things. Seeing the way cars have developed through history is a fine way of getting a feel for where we are going next. You either love antique cars or you hate them. But through learning what you can from their little foibles, you can get an appreciation for how automobiles have changed through history.
As with anything that develops a following, antique cars have come to be the subject of a number of clubs devoted to discussing, restoring and putting on show the best that the medium has to show for itself.
