HMIL totally owned subsidy of Hyundai, South Korea has proclaimed to unveil six latest versions in the country within next three years. Hyundai India is country’s 2nd largest vehicle producer and the biggest exporter of vehicles. Hyundai said that they’ll be spending Rupees 200 crore over the next five years on advertising & promotions in Indian market. Hyundai became ICC official cooperator which in itself is big news for the producer. Marketing Director Mr Arvind Saxena, Hyundai Motor India Limited, alleged, ‘Starting from this year 2011, we’re looking at launching 2 new variants each year in the next 3 years. In the next 5 years we will spend approximately Rupees 200crore on campaigns crossways the board, comprising the partnership with ICC.’

A new Mahindra Xylo was launched today. Mr. Vivek Nayer, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd announced the launch. The New Xylo D2 has a mDI CRDe engine which will offer the best of both worlds to the consumer, the DI as well as the newer CRDe Tech. This new 2.5L engine will give an increased fuel efficiency of 13 km/l in the city coupled with the Xylo’s earlier space and comfort would make it a much better option for long distance commuters.

The new Xylo will also be cheaper to maintain and the costs of spares has also been visibly reduced. Another feature that is impressive is that the Xylo is within the BS III emission norms and as a result has lower emissions and NVH levels. In spite of this the D2 offers 95Bhp 22 kg/m of torque. The Top mounted Intercoolers will kick in when a burst of power is requiring finding the right balance between fuel economy and drivability scores.
