After you have passed your theory test exam you need to pass practical driving test. The driving part of your test will last about 40 minutes. Throughout the practical test your examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving, including when you are carrying out the set exercises. You can make up to 15 driving faults and still pass the test (16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the practical test. The practical test will include an eyesight check (if you fail this, your test will not continue). The eyesight test requires you to read a number plate that is a certain distance away. After the eyesight test you will be asked two vehicle safety check questions. You will then be examined on your general driving and on two reversing exercises. The reversing exercises will be chosen from:
- Reversing around a corner
- Turning in the road
- Reverse parking

Second hand cars are bought mostly by people who don’t have enough money to buy a new car. I recommend people to consider a used car instead of a new one because it saves a lot of money and you get excellent value for money. They tell me that an old car might not work well but then you can always take a long test drive with the vehicle before buying, right? I have seen a lot of dealers having good collection of cars in their inventory which are in good condition. Even if you pick a car in bad condition and then spend some money on repairs, you still save a lot of money.
Value of a car depreciates really quickly and hence it is impractical to assume that a car is really bad if it has a low price tag. Very less people know that the price of a car goes down by 10 to 20 twenty percent once it is taken out of the store. And hence it is a great idea to buy a used car to save money. There are plenty of second hand cars in good working condition. Just be careful and do a thorough inspection before you buy the car or else all the money will be wasted.

I recently had a wonderful Nissan Murano SUV for a week-long test drive. The Nissan Murano is a clean-looking, and functional SUV. The Murano is a mid-sized, family-oriented SUV that is attractive, versatile, and well-equipped.
The Murano was redesigned for 2009 and the 2010 model hasn’t been changed very much. The instrument panel has been rearranged and some of the gauges and interior are slightly more upscale. Some people like the exterior looks while others are somewhat critical. The fenders arch upwards and slightly out over the wheels. This is not unlike several other SUV’s, but I like the looks and think that it gives a strong, bold appearance.

Test driving a car before purchasing is an absolute task that must be completed. Most people test drive a car for about ten minutes and decide to buy it. However, there are many steps you should take before even getting in the car. Always make a list of what you are looking for before you even get to the car dealership. Since people normally become so excited when finding their “perfect” car, they often times forget some of the most important details that are necessary when buying a car. Always make sure you love the color of both the interior and exterior. You will be looking at this car for many years to come, so do not compromise the color you desire most. Make sure the car is easy for you, and others to get in and out of. Always sit in both the front and back seats before even leaving the car lot for your test drive. This will assure everybody’s comfort when sitting in the car. Continue reading ‘Test Drive Guidelines’ »
