A Much Needed Break

Today I got back from a much needed trip.

We were celebrating my girlfriends graduation from college, so we decided to go to Vegas and get away for a couple days. When we got there I was surprised by the amount of people that were there vacationing. The lobby of our hotel was filled with 8 check-in lines, ten guest deep each. I asked the front desk if these guest were checking in or out ( not that it mattered)? You see the reason I say it doesn’t matter is because, regardless it was good news. It just went to show, that even though our economy is currently down people aren’t going to stop enjoying life.

I think you have a decision. You are either part of the recession or you are going to tell your self that you are not going to take part in it. What I mean by this is, you can sit and wait for things to get better or you can go out there and get it yourself. All of those people in Vegas said ” forget the recession I am going to go and enjoy my life”. The thing I realized was, you don’t have to spend a ton of money to have a good time. Read more
