Most of us might be familiar with windscreen wipers. Ironically, most of us might be unfamiliar with selecting a new replacement windshield wiper for our car. The basic problem lies in our reasoning – do not consider these as accessories that are meant to “wipe the glass”. Here is a little experiment that can be conducted to realize the uniqueness associated with these products. The next time it is raining, try to drive the vehicle without enabling these accessories. Within minutes, you will realize that you are literally blinded from the obstacles present in front of the vehicle.

The primary objective associated with these windscreen wipers is simple – to clear the windshield of those agents that cause visibility problems. Visibility problems can materialize in the form of rainwater or dirt or even bird droppings. Just like any other mechanical device, the wipers might be subjected to wear and tear over the years with consistent usage. Primarily, windshield wipers consist of high-grade rubber fittings that will aid in clearing the screen. With the passage of time, the rubber fitting will lose its efficiency, and cracks will develop on the surface of the rubber fittings.
